Research Strategy and Overview
CADICS is bringing together constellations of leading researchers in four underpinning thematic aspects of information technology. This enables research on new fundamental multi-thematic aspects of complex systems as well as creating an arena for new approaches to in-depth research at the forefront of disciplinary information technology.
The research strategy of CADICS is centered around three principles:
- To gather around fundamental research concepts, merging traditional disciplines, and forming new frontiers in information technology.
- To formulate simple and concrete points of cross-fertilisation between the research cultures resulting in collaborative research projects.
- To target three strategic application areas, where additional important research issues can be extracted, and the new methods can be deployed.
